Meet Lily Healthy - a master of health and holistic nutrition who likes to stretch in silk. We caught up with Lily one sunny afternoon in South London and chatted wellness, yoga and why stretch silk is the one for every day style.
How did Lily Healthy begin?

It all started when I started to feel sick during the day, I went to the doctors who gave me travel sickness pills, I took them for a week and with no change, I went back. He told me to continue for another 2 weeks. With no change still, I decided to take it into my own hands and change the way in which I ate. I cut back on sugars, gluten and dairy and I was amazed. Not only did I feel brighter, I had more energy and my skin got better. I then began researching and reading up on it all. I decided to quit my job, go to India to train to become a yoga teacher and then signed up to my nutrition course. I have never looked back.

What's your morning routine?

I would love to say that my day starts with hot lemon and an hours yoga but living in London is so fast paced and my days are always different. The one thing that I always do is drink a large glass of water. If I have time I squeeze some fresh lemon juice in it. It is a great way of cleansing the body first thing. If you can only do one thing, do that.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

India - I had never been before I went to do my yoga teacher training and I totally fell in love.

Best piece of advice?

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change…

Describe your day to day style...

For yoga, I love to feel really comfortable but also make sure that it doesn't look like I haven't just rolled out of bed! I definitely invest in my yoga clothes.

What’s the best thing about being a girl boss?

I love being able to run my business the way I want and grow and develop my ideas with the intention to help and heal others.

Why stretch silk trousers?

Not only are they super comfy but you can dress them up and down. Working for myself means that I am always on the go and wearing my Maimies means I am always ready.
